A super short post today.

Eric recently published a great post that showed a dump of all the custom properties associated with a VM (in this case, provisioned to vSphere).

One of the properties that it showed was VirtualMachine.Storage.Cluster.Name – as you might expect, this property allows you to select from a number of datastore clusters exposed in a reservation for placement. It’s not actually documented as part of the Custom Property Reference, but thought it might be useful for people to know about.
